Dear grandpa, i cant believe that you left this world, God came down and took you by the hand and wisperd its time to let go, we all knew it would not be well to let you stay in this world, so we had to let you go, grandma and all of us still think about you everyday, Your a lucky man, you left us in this world alone but we will still think of you and still love you, We love you grandpa

As I try to write this, the words escape my thought but my heart is filled with the joy your memory brings.

We were all very blessed to have you as our grandfather and I'm sure that I speak for us all when I say the majority of my most cherished memories involve you in some way. Saying goodbye is never easy and this goodbye is truly no exception. In fact, this one has been the hardest of them all. You were a pillar of our support structure and a half of the very foundation that our family is built on. The viod that you have left in our lives can never be filled and a piece of me truly left this earth with you.

I know you have just completed your business here with us and this is just the next chapter for you and our family. You're probably up there right now riding your bike, eating a Snickers bar, canvassing a new neighborhood for us to settle in when we join you for our eternal rest.

Hold it down for us grandpa. I love you.

I have never met you or at least remember you. I have no shared memories of you nor will I feel the same heavy hearts my family does for you. What I do know from my mother is that you were there. By my great-grandmother, by her kids, by her grandkids and so forth. You were there. You took care of them, you love them, sheltered them, fed them, comforted them, laughed with them, and lived your life knowing you were a part of them. Knowing this gives me respect for you and a yearning sense of knowing you. I wish I knew you, or remembered you. I want to know the man everyone loved. You may be gone but I, and I hope my family will, know that you were there. So to my family, the ones who ache, cry, rage, and silence themselves. Remember that he was there. And he always will be there. Still loving us.

I know you're going to be watching over all of us along with my ma, we'll eventually see each other one day. I will always love you & I'm going to forever miss you! RIP Grandpa

Words can not explain the hurt I am feeling. You left without a good bye. I would complain how you would call me 20 times in one day now I find myself wishing to receive just one more call. There are so many things I want to say. I love and miss you grandpa. We will all be together again.

Ahora ya estás en el Cielo con muchos Angelitos, con mis Abuelos, mis Padres, Hermanos y demás Familia que se nos han Adelantado en este caminar por la Vida, seguramente te recibieron con un gran Banquete lleno de Abrazos, Besos, y Risas, con Alegría y Entusiasmo eso que tanto te Caracterizaba, tu chispa de Pureza  :D  Haya Gozaras de todo sin Limitaciones y serás pleno.

Aquí dejaste muchos Recuerdos y bellos Momentos con tu Familia y Seres Queridos, dejas un gran vacío y dolor por tu Partida, es duro decir Adiós cuando en Realidad uno no quiere Despedirse, pero me queda el Consuelo de Pensar que ahora no sufres y tengo un Ángel más en el Cielo que Vela por mí y mi Familia. 

Lamento tu Partida pero el Recuerdo de tu Sonrisa es mi Mayor fuerza para seguir Adelante, recuerdo cuando me llamabas y me decías Juliana cuídate y me alegrabas con tu voz y entusiasmo ante cualquier circunstancia, siempre buscabas la manera de sacarme una sonrisa y ver el lado positivo a todo, ya no te veré mas pero siempre estará en mi mente cuando me venias a visitar y me pedias tu coquita bien helada y tus burritas que tanto te gustaban, extrañare esos cachetes que tanto me gustaba acariciar :'( 

Mi corazón está Contigo mi Gordito, y te deja Partir para que Encuentres la Luz del Eterno descanso, pero mi Mente y Alma te guardaran y Jamás te Olvidare, Que Dios te Bendiga Hermano.

Mi esposo David se queda con los recuerdos de las Aventuras que pasaron Juntos y te Recuerda más que como su Cuñado como su Amigo, Hermano y Compadre, mis Hijos te extrañaran ya que te adoraban como su tío querido. Descansa en Paz Cuco Peña.

Que Dios nos Envié Fortaleza para Superar y Asimilar que te nos adelantaste, Resignación y Consuelo a mi Comadre Lidia y sus Hijos que te dieron una gran Familia.

Cuco, in heaven you don't have to worry about what you eat, the pain in your knees or sugar levels. No more shortness of breath, or swollen legs. You're free! Free to play soccer again to your heart's content then sit and eat some carnitas with a dozen (or maybe two!) Tortillas or maybe a gallon of caldo. I pray heaven gives you all that we had to deny you here on earth. I will miss you always. The only father I've ever known or loved.

Maricela, may you find the strength to continue during this most difficult time. I  want you to know that our thoughts and prayers are with you.
