A proud graduate of Morton East High School and Southern Illinois University, Robert built a respected career as Purchasing Manager for Akzo Nobel, where he was known for his sharp negotiating skills and professional integrity. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Robert was an avid Musky fisherman who cherished his time on the lakes of Wisconsin's NorthWoods. He was also a dedicated golfer who welcomed both the challenge and camaraderie of the game, and he enjoyed traveling and exploring new destinations.
Robert is survived by his sister-in-law, Marilyn Bokuniewicz; his nephew, Joseph (Carrie) Bokuniewicz; his niece, Joy (Christy) Bokuniewicz; his cousin, Tom (Barb) Ostrowski; and cousin-in-law, Donna Ostrowski. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Stephanie Bokuniewicz; his brothers, Joseph and Richard; and his cousin, John Ostrowski.
