

Ana Maria Ramirez, 63 years old, of San Diego, passed away on May 9, 2015. She was born in Uruapan, Michoacan, Mexico on February 28, 1952 to Francisco and Isabel Madriz. She was married to Jose Adan Ramirez on January 12, 1971 in San Diego, California. They were blessed with 43 years of married life. During their marriage, both Ana and Jose were members of the "Movimiento Familiar Cristiano", a Christian based prayer and support group for Catholic families, for over 20 years.
Ana Maria had many passions in life, first and foremost was taking care of her family and cooking their favorite dishes. She enjoyed traveling and occasional trips to Sycuan Casino to play the slots.
She was predeceased in death by 3 siblings, Francisco Madriz, Antonio Madriz and Juana Madriz. She is survived by her husband, Jose A. Ramirez, their children, Joe Ramirez, Eddie Ramirez, Victoria Alfarez, Cynthia Mireles, Gus Ramirez, Miriam Oneil and Arturo Oneil. Survivors include her parents, Francisco and Isabel Madriz, a legacy of 7 grandchildren, Angel and Adrian Ramirez, Isaac, Gabriel, and Samuel Mireles, and Emily and Andrea Alferez. Surviving siblings are Isabel Madriz, Teresa Madriz, Jorge Madriz, Martin Madriz, Javier Madriz, and Mario Madriz.
Funeral Arrangements will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Humphrey on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 from 5 p.m to 9 p.m. located at 753 Broadway, Chula Vista, California, 91910. A Rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. A Catholic funeral mass celebrated in her honor will take place on Thursday, May 14, 2015 at 1 p.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel, 2020 Alaquinas Drive, San Ysidro, California 92172. A funeral procession will immediately follow to her eternal resting place at Glen Abbey Memorial Park in Bonita, California.
