Concepcion Orci Ledesma

She received her education in Mexico and continued to study when she moved to the United States and proudly became an American Citizen.

She married the love of her life, Jesus Ledesma. They were blessed with 52 years of marriage and six children. Concepcion's first priority was taking care of her family. Additionally, she worked alongside her husband to help provide for her family. When time allowed, Concepcion enjoyed working in her garden, tending to her roses or working on crossword puzzles which kept her mind on point. She also enjoyed travelling, Puerto Vallerta and Las Vegas were tops on her list. She always had a favorite pet cat or dog to keep her company. However, when the grandchildren started to arrive, they became center of her life! Concepcion loved her family and friends, and in return she was genuinely loved by them as well. Concepcion will be greatly missed but will continue to live in the hearts and memories of all.

Concepcion was predeceased by her beloved husband Jesus in 2004 and her son John Ledesma, "Canis" in 2017. She is survived by her sons; Jesse Ledezma (Rosie), Marco Antonio Ledesma, Carlos Ledesma, Miguel Ledesma ( Shirley) and daughter Dennise Sullivan (Arnold). Her legacy includes seven grandchildren; Jesus Antonio Ledesma, Leslie Ann Rodriguez, Belinda Eileen Ledesma, Brandon Ledesma, Nicolas Ledesma, Marco Ledesma and Ulises Ledesma. In addition, she has a surviving sister, Maria Orci and surviving brother Jesus Orci.

A visitation for Concepcion will be held Thursday, March 7, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. at Funeraria del Angel Chula Vista, 753 Broadway, Chula Vista, CA 91910. A funeral mass will occur Friday, March 8, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at St. Charles Catholic Church, 990 Saturn Boulevard, San Diego, CA 92154. Her eternal resting place will occur Friday, March 8, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. at La Vista Memorial Park, 3191 Orange Street, National City, CA 91950.
