Concha Mendez, born Concepcion Casillas on August 28th, 1925, passed on June 29th 2017 in Imperial Beach, California. She is survived by her daughter Laura Paoletto, her son Bob Mendez, four grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren. "Conchita". is the widow of Jesus Mendez, lived her adult life in Imperial Beach, California, and was a loving mother and wife and homemaker. Born in Juarez, Mexico, Concha emigrated to the United States as a young woman.
She studied nursing for a short time in Mexico, and after immigrating worked several jobs including a fish cannery where she met Jesus Mendez. Concha loved to cook and sew, she was very creative.

He eternal resting place will be at Miramar National Cemetery with a committal service to be held on Tuesday, July 18th, 2017 at 9:00 AM.
