Daniel (Dino) J. Valdez

DANIEL JOSEPH VALDEZ of Chula Vista, California passed away with his family by his side on Sunday, September 16 in San Diego. Daniel who is known by his family and friends as Dino is survived by his loving family Sons Juan Carlos and Daniel Joseph Valdez, Daughter Valerie Valdez, Father Juan V. Valdez, Mother Ida Valdez, Brother Ronald G. Valdez, Sister Deborah Bewall, Granddaughter Lizzette Valdez, Niece Danielle Valdez, Nephew Mark Dobson, Goddaughter Brooke Dobson and long time Partner Liliana Garcia-Rivera and proceeded in death by his Brother John Valdez. Dino was born on June 7, 1962 in Whidbey Island Naval Base located in Oak Harbor, Washington. Dino joined the United States Army after high school and served his country proudly and after the his military service Dino graduated college and made his career as a Computer Science Technician. A viewing and rosary will be held on Thursday, September 20th from 5:00 to 9:00 with a rosary at 7:00 pm in the Serenity Chapel located at Funeraria Del Angel Humphrey followed by a funeral Mass on Friday, September 21 at 11:00 am St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church 293 H St. in Chula Vista. Dino will have Military Honors on Monday September 24 at 11:00 at Holy Cross Cemetery 4470 Hilltop Dr., San Diego.
