

Domingo was born in Toran, Aparri Cagayan, Philippine Islands on June 23, 1933 to parents Joaquin and Maria Lacangan.
He had a successful career in the U.S. Navy for twenty-three years and then pursued a second career in Administration of Justice.
Domingo graduated from law school and received a Criminal Justice degree from National University.
Domingo was married to Avelina C. Lacangan on January 6, 1955. He is survived by Avelina and six of their eight children; June (Fran) Lacangan, Avelina Moore, Edwin (Janie) Lacagan, Elie (Robert) Kennedy, Dominic Lacangan, and Danny Lacangan.
Predeceased by son Diego (Nylie Afuyog) and daughter Spring Lacangan. His legacy includes eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Domingo will be greatly missed by his family. He will be remembered for his passion for dancing, entertaining, cooking and fishing.
One of his favorite things was to cook his "prime rib specialty " for his family.
Domingo will have a "celebration of life" on Tuesday, March 5th, 2013 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Humphrey located at 753 Broadway, Chula Vista, CA 91910.
His final resting place will be at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery in San Diego, California.
