Elsye Lorraine "Lorrie" Malone

Lorrie was born December 19, 1922 in Chicago, Illinois to John and Rose (Meditsch) Lussnig. She met her beloved Cam "Rockie" Malone while he was stationed in Chicago during World War II. They were married on November 17, 1945. They followed Rockie's Navy postings and lived in Texas, Illinois, and Rhode Island before settling in Chula Vista with their family.

Lorrie was a dedicated mother--she never missed a Little League game and was always there for her children. She loved taking road trips, discovering new places, and visiting with family.

Lorrie and Rockie were married for 66 years until Rockie's passing in 2012. Lorrie is predeceased by her sister and dearest friend, Dorothy Trecker; her brother-in-law Bill; and two baby boys, John and George. Lorrie is survived by her children Glenn Malone, Michael Malone, and Patrick Malone, all of Chula Vista; her daughter, Darlene (Robby) Eller of Yreka; her grandchildren, Benjamin (Teresa) Miller of Yreka; Alisha (Mark) Wenzel, Genevieve Eller, Ethan (Lisa) Eller, and Jordan Eller all of Sacramento; and great-grandchildren Grace Henry, Aidan, Greta, and Elias Eller, and Cam Miller.

Lorrie had a sweet tooth and a sweet smile, and she is dearly missed by her friends and family.
