Erlinda was born in Dagupan City, Philippines, on Feb 9, 1945, and later received her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Pangasinan Normal School. Erlinda’s partner-in-crime for 43 years was Rudy Aquino, and they had three loving sons.
She excelled for over 20 years as an administrator for various technology companies, which translated well to her leading a number of Filipino association and church-related groups. She loved her relationship with God and was heavily involved in the St. Charles Catholic Church Choir and presided over as Regent of the Daughters of Mary Immaculate for the St. Charles Catholic Church chapter.
She was passionate about helping those in need, often coordinating successful fund-raising efforts to aid residents of her birthplace of Dagupan City or serenading local elderly and sick patients with her church groups.
She loved singing Whitney Houston songs, cooking lots of delicious food and making sure your plate was always overflowing, and she absolutely adored her four grandchildren.
Erlinda is survived by her husband, Rudy; three sons, Rodel, Rodney, and Roderick Aquino; grandchildren, Jordan Daniel, Jacob Nicholas, Emery Eve and Logan James Aquino; and siblings, Norma Calulut, Evangeline Cano, Johnny Villamil, and Gloria Caspillo.
