Florence E. Gallagher

She was born in Trawick, Texas on September 28, 1925 to John and Mary Paskell. On December 6, 1941 she married the love of her life, Frances A. Gallagher. Their union lasted for fifty-four years. He predeceased her in 1995. Florence enjoyed her role as a homemaker, and also that of working outside the home. She worked as a hostess and waitress for Barbara Worth Country Club, Panchos Restaurant, Ember Glo Restaurant, Brunners Restaurant, and Knotty Pine Restaurant, all located in

El Centro, California.

Florence had many interests, in addition to taking care of her family first, she enjoyed crocheting, going to the horse races, gardening and playing bingo. Her favorite race tracks were Caliente in Tijuana, Mexico and Del Mar Race Track.

Florence is survived by her children; Donna (Sal), Vallejo, Adrianne (Gary) Scott, Keith (Eva) Gallagher, and John (Denise) Gallagher. She was predeceased by daughter Carrie Gallagher in 1999. Her legacy also include thirteen grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren and still counting.

Her funeral arrangements will be held Friday, May 17, 2013 at Funeraria Del Angel Humphrey, a public viewing will be at 10;00 a.m. and a funeral service will start at 11:00 a.m. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Glen Abbey Memorial Park.
