George F. Dowd of Poway. Born July 6, 1922, he was the son of Frank and Elsie Dowd. George passed away December 21, 2011. Cremation will be completed. A memorial service to honor George's life and service to our country will be held at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery in San Diego, CA on February 24, 2012 at 1:00PM.
