Harriet Louise Wright

June 2nd, 2015. Harriet was a native who lived and died in her beloved San Diego. She was

born to Rufus and Clara Belle Parks in 1926. She graduated from Hoover High School and

Simmons College in Boston, MA. Harriet is survived by her children Scott (Kendra), Brad

(Kelley), Caron (Ron), Tom (Caroline), and Becky (Matt). Also surviving her are 7 grandchildren

and 3 great grandchildren. Harriet leaves behind her dedicated and loving caregivers Rose and

Tosin. She was blessed with a large family who surrounded her with their love as she journeyed

to her new experience.

Harriet retired from the San Diego Unified School District as manager of the Equipment Repair

Department. In her retirement years she ushered at the Civic Theater and travelled worldwide

taking family and friends along with her. She was a longtime member of Summit Unitarian

Universalist Fellowship where she served as president of the board.

Harriet's Celebration of Life will be on July 25, 2015 at 11:00 AM, Summit Unitarian Universalist
