Herlinda Velasquez Sanchez, age 94, of Vista, California passed away on Monday May 6, 2019. Herlinda was born May 11, 1924 in Lyford, Texas to Hijinio Velasquez and Antonia Ramirez Velasquez. She was married to her loving husband Isaias H. Sanchez for 73 years.

Herlinda is survived by; daughter Sarah Kauffman; son-in-law Robert Kauffman; son Serafin Sanchez; son Isaias (Ozzie) Sanchez; daughter-in-law Tammy Sanchez; daughter Olga Sorensen; son-in-law Jim Sorensen; daughter Anita Sanchez; daughter Herlinda V. Valdez; son-in-law Arthur F. Valdez; daughter-in-law Kelly Sanchez; daughter Esmeralda (Dolly) Gallagher; and son-in-law William E. Gallagher, 10 sibling

5-brothers( all deceased) 5-sisters (1-deceased)

Herlinda was preceded in death by; Husband Isaias H. Sanchez; son Ismael V. Sanchez.

Herlinda will be remembered as a Humble Servant for Christ. Strong Prayer Warrior and always Faithful. A Pillar to her entire Family. She especially enjoyed her 25 Grand Children, 44 Great Grandchildren, (including 1 deceased Step-Great Granddaughter) and 3 Great-Great Grandchildren.

A viewing for Herlinda will be held Wednesday, May 15, 2019 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm with a Service at 7:00pm at Funeraria del Angel Chula Vista, 753 Broadway, Chula Vista, CA 91910. A Funeral Service will occur Thursday, May 16, 2019 at 1:00pm also at Funeraria Del Angel Chula Vista followed by a graveside service at Glen Abbey Memorial Park, 3838 Bonita Rd., Bonita, CA, followed by a Celebration of Life from 5:00pm - 9:00pm at the Chula Vista Yacht Club: 642 Marina Parkway, Chula Vista, CA 91910
