

Jesus V. Leon, 49 years old, of San Diego, passed away on June 11, 2015. He was born in Tijuana, Mexico, to Jesus and Elena Leon on July 18, 1965. He was four years old when his parents moved the family to San Diego County. He graduated from San Diego High School and on October 26, 1996, he married to love of his life, Guadalupe A. Valdivia (Lupe). Jesus was a dedicated provider and worked hard in the construction business. He worked in concrete construction for Granite Construction and Daley Construction for more than 20 years. He was a member of the Labor Union Local 89.
During his leisure time, Jesus loved spending with his family of 3 sons and one daughter. He also made time to always help others in need, family and friends alike. He enjoyed playing baseball and watching sports on television. Collecting baseball cards was a favorite hobby he will be fondly be remembered by.
Jesus is survived by his wife, Lupe Valdivia, his children, Anthony, Noel, Jazlynn, and Jeremy. In addition, his legacy includes a granddaughter,
Marley Diaz. Survivors include his mother Elena Leon, his brothers, Miguel, Hector, Andres, and sister, Rosa Elena Leon-Molina.
A Celebration of Life & Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Humphrey, 753 Broadway, Chula Vista, California 91910 on Sunday, June 21, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 345 Anita Street, Chula Vista, California, 91911 on Monday, June 22, 2015 at 12:30 p.m. Finally, a procession to his final resting place will follow the mass to Greenwood Memorial Park in San Diego, California.
