Dad - I still can't believe you are gone.  You were a great father and would do just about anything for family and friends.  I will always remember how you, Mom 
and John would be out pitching balls to me and shagging balls. That was a show of love from you and the family that you don't see every day. I will always miss you.

John Jr. and Tony and Family: I was John's neighbor since 1984. I must say, that John was a neighbor that everyone would wish for. He and Mary did so many things for me, helped build my deck, repaired a water heater, leaking pipes, built shelves and a work bench for the garage. He never charged me a cent and would get a little upset if I offered him money. All I had to do is provide the materials. I doubt I will ever have a neighbor that generous. But the most important thing is that they were such nice people and great neighbors.  May God grant him the rest he so deserves and reunit him with his beloved wife - Mary.

Grandpa - I am lucky to have had so much love and support from you throughout my life.  Not many granddaughters get to play tennis with their grandfathers as long as we did!  I will cherish those memories forever. You will be so very missed and never forgotten.  Rest in peace.

This has been a really wild ride being your daughter in law. I was fifteen when I met your son.  Then one night in 1961,I was sitting in the bleachers at a Su-Hi basketball game, Tony playing.  I’m watching you and your son walk into the gym and I’m thinking,  “My goodness, my boyfriend has a really good looking dad.”
Okay, I’ll admit they favor each other, but I was enjoying the view. And our times together began.  Joining the Nicita family has been such a blessing and so much fun, albeit a roller coaster ride.  Our highs were fantastic and these past few months have been the best of the ride.  I will miss your 9 am newspaper deliveries along with the Tiramisus and banana cream pies.  We’ll all probably lose weight.  
Your watermelons and honeydews were the best. No one can pick a melon like you did. We always knew it was your way of saying you loved us. 
I’ll miss your playing with baby Johnny, the pitches you would forever pitch, and the high fives you two would share.   I’ll miss your morning weather reports, as will Valerie. Our morning gatherings are different now. A part is missing. 
So old man, you are gone, to be with our sweet Mary, and baby Blueberry. I’m happy you two are together again, taking care of Renee’s baby. Peace. 
And I will miss you lots!

John (Grandpa, Grandpa) was loved by so many and will be missed by all.

John, I miss you! You were the rock on the tennis court and the best, warmest and most helpful friend off the court.

i cannot believe you are gone, i thought you would live forever! i am lucky you are my grandfather. you showed me how to be strong and stick up for myself! i thank you for all the times we shared and for being the man you were. Rest In Peace, Grandpa!!!

Dad was miserly with himself but couldn't be more generous with family & friends. He was smart enough to have fears but brave enough to face them. He was very opinionated & stubborn but generally very tolerant. I couldn't be more proud of my dad, loved him, will miss him.
