It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of John Edward Rittenhouse Jr., age 60, of San Diego, on January 21, 2025. Born in Petaluma, California. to John Edward and Sherrie Rittenhouse, John was a cherished husband, son, brother, and friend.
A proud graduate of San Diego State University, where he earned his Bachelor's degree and dedicated 30 years of service as a manager at Otay Farms, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and dedication.
John spent 30 wonderful years with the love of his life, Nenita Rittenhouse, and together they created a lifetime of love and cherished memories
He is survived by his wife, Nenita; brothers, Eric and Troy; and parents, John Edward and Sherrie. John’s warmth, kindness, and unwavering spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A memorial service to celebrate John's life will be held on February 12, 2025, from 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel, 753 Broadway, Chula Vista, CA 91910.
John's memory will live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
