

José desarrolló una larga y honorable carrera en Solar Turbines, donde su integridad, liderazgo y sólida ética de trabajo le valieron múltiples reconocimientos y el respeto de quienes trabajaron con él.
Después de haber respondido al llamado de Jesucristo a seguirlo, José obtuvo múltiples certificaciones en estudios bíblicos y pastorales en el seminario, y se dedicó profundamente al estudio de la Palabra de Dios. Fue ordenado al ministerio, predicó el evangelio en ambos lados de la frontera y plantó iglesias. Junto con su esposa, sirvió como Director de una Escuela de Estudios Bíblicos, dedicándose a la enseñanza y al discipulado. Su ministerio se extendió más allá del púlpito: sirvió constantemente a los necesitados, a los mayores de la tercera edad y ministró a personas encarceladas a través del Ministerio de Prisiones Kairos, donde sirvió como Rector en el Centro Correccional R.J. Donovan, compartiendo la compasión de Cristo y su amor por los perdidos. Le sobreviven su amada esposa, Martha E. Carrillo; sus hijos, Omar, Danny, Nelson y Gabriela Carrillo; y sus nietos, Daniela, Elsa, Anabella, Kaleb, Keilah y Victoria.

José P. Carrillo was a devoted husband, a loving father and grandfather, and a faithful servant of God, recognized for his discipline, responsibility, love, and compassion for others.
José built a long and honorable career at Solar Turbines, where his integrity, leadership, and strong work ethic earned him multiple recognitions and the respect of those who worked alongside him.
After responding to the call of Jesus Christ to follow Him, José obtained multiple certifications in biblical and pastoral studies at seminary and devoted himself deeply to the study of God’s Word. He was ordained into ministry, preached the gospel on both sides of the border, and planted churches. Together with his wife, he served as Director of a Biblical Studies School, dedicating himself to teaching and discipleship. His ministry extended beyond the pulpit: he consistently served the needy, cared for the elderly, and ministered to incarcerated individuals through Kairos Prison Ministry, where he served as Rector at R.J. Donovan Correctional Facility, sharing the compassion of Christ and His love for the lost. He is survived by his beloved wife, Martha E. Carrillo; his children, Omar, Danny, Nelson, and Gabriela Carrillo; and his grandchildren, Daniela, Elsa, Anabella, Kaleb, Keilah, and Victoria.
