June Florence Southworth

June Florence Southworth , 84 years of age, of Imperial Beach, California, passed away on November 3, 2015. She was born in Bigfork, Minnesota on November 23, 1930. She graduated from Bigfork High School. On March 31, 1953 she married the love of her life, Harold George Southworth. They were blessed with a marriage of 41 years and 3 daughters. He predeceased her August 25, 1994.

June will be missed by many, family and friends alike. She will be remembered as the "hostess with the mostest" . She loved to open her home often for special anniversary celebrations and holiday parties. She enjoyed cooking special meals for family and friends during these special times.

June is survived by her 3 daughters; Zona Leigh, Susan Ellis and Christie Wieber (Bill). Surviving siblings are Iris (Tootie) Patrick, Amber Kaczor, Hope Perkins, Penny Petersen, Fred Southworth, Mike Southworth, Bruce Southworth and Jon Sitz. Her legacy includes her 7 grandchildren, Gunnar Wieber, Ryan Wieber, Jennifer King, Brian Leigh, Daniel Wieber, Sarah Proctor and John Proctor. In addition, her great-grandchildren are Christine Johan, Kaitlyn King, Stacy Proctor, Hudson King, Helen Bell, Rachel Proctor, Samuel Bell, Benjamin Wieber, Taylor Wieber, and Fallon Wieber.

A celebration of life and memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Humphrey, 753 Broadway, Chula Vista, California 91910. Final resting place will be alongside her husband, Harold G. Southworth, at Ft. Rosecrans National Cemetery on Monday, November 23, 2015.
