Mario Montaño

He was born in Tlajomulco De Zuñiga, Jalisco on November 9, 1953. He worked in sales for many years and traveled all throughout Baja California Sur. He met his wife Leticia Castillo in January 1974 in Tijuana, Baja California. They married March 22, 1975. His passion in life was his family. He enjoyed spending time with them and making everyone laugh. He also loved family vacations especially if they were impromptu. He had a passion for his garden, where he grew bananas, apples, avocados, and a variety of chiles.

He was survived by his spouse Leticia of 38 years. His daughters; Leticia, Liliana, and Jeanette; and his son Mario Alberto. His legacy include his grandchildren; Andres, Dominic, and Adrian. His sisters; Ofelia, Consuelo, Lourdes; and brothers Antonio, Rodolfo, Joel, Sergio, and Jaime. In addition, he is survived by his mother Maria De Jesus.

A memorial service, "celebration of Mario's life" will be held Saturday, May 17, 2013 at 5 p.m. with a Rosary recital at 7 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Humphrey, 753 Broadway, Chula Vista, California, 91910.
