Our incredible Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Auntie, Tia, Friend, Patient and Neighbor, Phyllis Mather, suffered a stroke on Monday, October 1st and died peacefully, at home, Thursday, October 4th.
She slipped away quietly while no one was looking! Her family, both immediate and extended, came to wish her farewell Weds evening.
She just celebrated her 96th birthday (September 18th) in Rosarito Beach. As always, she was shining, bright and brilliant.
Our shining star extinguished quickly but we suspect that is as she would wish. She was there….and then she was gone! She wouldn’t want to linger.
A viewing for Phyllis will be held Tuesday, October 16, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 655 C Avenue, Coronado, California. A vigil service will occur Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at 7:00 PM. A mass of the resurrection will occur Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at 11:00 AM, 655 C Avenue, Coronado, CA. An eternal resting place will occur Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, 4470 Hilltop Dr., San Diego, California.
