

Ralph graduated from Medford High School and joined the U.S. Air Force. Upon completing his military commitment, he became a civilian flight instructor for the federal government. He entered retirement after spending 37 years doing a job he truly enjoyed.
Ralph married Salvacion Lisa Ebellon on May 27, 1997 after a long term courtship. They were blessed with 21 years of marriage.
Ralph was deeply devoted to his Catholic faith and was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus. This catholic fraternal service organization is renown for the charitable acts of services it provides to those in need worldwide.
When football season rolled around Ralph had a passion for his Green Bay Packers, never missing a game if possible. He enjoyed spending time with his family and his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by family and friends alike.
Ralph is survived by his wife, Salvacion "Lisa" Viergutz, three daughters; Eva Frost (Cecil), Velma Anderson (Brad), Jacqueline Manca, and son Lester "Rykk" Viergutz. His legacy includes grandchildren;
Ceasar Williams, Steven Williams (Vanessa),twins Lorenzo and Xavier Williams, Alonzo Williams, Bianca Montegrande, Faith Frost, Thomas Frost, Danielle Anderson and Ileanna Arizu. In addition, surviving siblings include three brothers; Jimmy and Donny Viergutz and John Benckeser and six sisters; Marianne, Gloria, Flourine, Judy, Janice and Julie.
A visitation for Ralph will be held Tuesday, March 12, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Chula Vista, 753 Broadway, Chula Vista, CA 91910. A funeral mass will occur Wednesday, March 13, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, 1245 Fourth Avenue, Chula Vista, CA 91911. A military honors committal service will occur Wednesday, March 13, 2019 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Miramar National Cemetery, 5795 Nobel Drive, San Diego, CA 92122.
