Robert “Bobby” D. Cruz passed away peacefully with family by his side on April 2, 2026.
He was born on June 10, 1939, in Bulacan, Philippines, to Simeona and Amado Cruz. He had four siblings: Andy, Santos, Libbey, and Peter.
On March 13, 1960, Bobby married Amelia Cruz at Malolos Cathedral in Bulacan, beginning a lifelong partnership rooted in love and family.
He proudly served in the United States Navy for 23 years. He enjoyed traveling, fishing, playing mahjong, and indulging in ice cream and halo-halo. He will also be remembered for his unmistakable cough.
He is survived by his wife, Amelia; his children: Anna, Arlene, Rodell, and John; his siblings; and a large extended family of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives, and friends.
Bobby will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
