I can't believe it's been a year.  I miss you and think about u often.  I was just sitting here with a friend, sharing stories about you and the things we talked about (one of them was about your convent days and how you guys went into town and you hiked up your skirt and pinched your cheeks for color). "Hello  beautiful!" That is the pleasant greeting I always received from Rosa every time she visited my classroom! A beautiful woman inside and out.   You will be missed Rosa. I am so grateful to have known you.

Dear Rosa's Family:  Your mom was such an amazing woman.  I valued her friendship so much.  Working with her was always the highlight of my day.  We would talk and laugh so much about the silliest things.  Her laugh was so contagious and her spirit will go on forever.  Because of her I was also able to met and get to know her beautiful family that meant so much to her.  She talked about all of you every day with love and pride. Be strong and hold onto one another and take care of each other. I shall never, ever forget Rosa, my very dear friend.  Love you Rosa!

You are finally out of pain. You are a Godly woman and you know you are in Heaven with your FATHER. We did not know each other for years but you touched me and my daughter. You're kind heart, energy, sense of humor, helpfulness, etc. I could go on and on touched me. You truly have a light that shines and everyone could see it. You gave me advice on how to take care of my daughter since she's an only child and then I found out you were an only child too. Rosa, you gained many brothers and sisters by those you touched. I wish Trinity and I could've visited you more so she can play with the boys. Rosa, thank you for being my angel!!

Rosa, Mi Chaparra Im going to miss your laugh and smile.  Our days at Brooklyn Elementary were the BEST.  Your an angel now amiga and I know you are in no more pain and will watch over all of us that loved you.  I was blessed to be your friend not just at work but on a personal level.  I love you Chaparra, rest in paradise!

Rosa, I'm deeply sorry that I didn't touch base with you again. You were always a great friend and co-worker.  Always, cheering me up, telling me to look at the positive, or to forgive.  So many laughs, you were so funny, so hard not to laugh at times with your stories (especially the nun ones).  Not sure who knows, but when my youngest daughter dropped herself in the pool thinking she had a swim vest, you saw right away and jumped in and saved her.     Rosie, Im so sad in my heart that you are not here. Its hard to step outside or drive up and look next door and know that everything has changed completely and that you will never be home again.  Although, I know you are in heaven our true home it's still hard to believe. I just want to say that I love you and thank you for everything I was able to learn from you. 
  You were always so busy soaking in the little details of life that most of us overlooked and would never have known, or even have thought about without you.  As little as you were, your strength and courage were greater than I think you even knew. Thank you God for putting this little lady in my path.  I know why you wanted her home with you.  I can just picture her up there in heaven keeping you on your toes; =) I hope you have a long to-do list for her because she's always on the go.  That thought alone brings a smile to my face.  We miss you already and will never forget you.

Rosa my friend my Sister:

I miss you so much!!!  I still can't believe you're gone.  I know in my heart you are in heaven asking all kinds of questions one of the many things I love about you.

We met through such tragedies in our lives as a result a 10 year friendship was formed.  I miss you venting to me and me you, I miss you're smile your laugh I miss everything about you.

I will stay in touch with you're beautiful daughter and handsome sons as long as they let me.  I know they love and miss they're Mom very much.

Even though I know you're in a better place doesn't make it right that God took you from us.  I do however thank God you are finally out of pain.

I know you're looking down on us missing and loving us all too.  You're always on my mind, in my thoughts and in my heart.  I will never forger the strong incredible woman you are, you were a great friend and best mother in town.

Sunday I was getting ready to text you to ask if I was coming over for coffee then I remembered you weren't there.

It's going to take a while to get used to you not being physically here.

I know one day I will hear bells go off that will tell me My Angel Rosa that you have earned your wings I bet that's going to be a sight to see.

         I first want to start off saying that I love you soo much. Your passing has been very hard on me, although I know that you are no longer in pain, it hurts my soul to know that i will no longer see your beautiful smile, feel the touch of your arms hug me, or hear your sweet voice tell me how much you love me. Just knowing that one day i will see you again isnt enough, I dont know how i will get by but I'm trying. I miss you so much. I dont completely understand why things happen to wonderful people. I dont understand why you had to get cancer or why you had to suffer. I know that I've gained one of the most gorgeous angels in heaven & that you are in a better place, cancer free, with all your hair, & no stress at all. Please save a spot for me right next to you. I miss you soo much mom words cannot explain, although I am trying. I love you so much. Thank you for raising me the way you did. Thank you for your love & your care. Thank you Lord for giving me such an amazing woman as my role model & mother. Till we meet again mom & I know we will, you will always be in my heart.
