Roy Paul Hutchens, age 79, of Chula Vista, California passed away on Friday, August 22, 2025.He was born in Santa Monica, California on June 23, 1946 to Robert Lee Hutchens and Violet Rae Mc Cart. Roy graduated from Monroe High School. Roy had enlisted into the United States Navy Roy and while in the navy he met and fell in love with Evelyn Banaag Cox and they got married on January 6, 1970.
Roy had a career in the United States Navy and retired after 20 years as a SK-1. After his retirement he work for the United States Postal Service as a letter carrier.
Roy loved spending time with his family especially with his granddaughter Celanie.In his spare time he like to watching movies, go bowling, putting puzzles together, cruising and sightseeing.
Roy is survived by his loving family wife Evelyn, daughter Melanie Violet Hutchens, son in-law Ceasar Cortez, granddaughter Celanie Lia Cortez and brother Lawrence Hutchens.
