Sarah Renee Mata

Sarah had recently started in new career in the Medical field, working as a medical assistant specializing in oncology treatment. She had many passions in life, her favorite was spending time with her family, especially her daughter, Izabella and her son, Matthew. Other favorite pastimes included hiking, swimming and shopping. She enjoyed reaching out to children and teenagers offering guidance and assistance whenever she was approached.

Sarah is survived by her children; Izabella Renee Alvarado and Matthew Bryan Alvarado. Her parents; Fernando Mata and Griselda Mata. Her brother, Fernando Mata Jr. and sister-in-law, Lurdez Mata. Her grandparents; Miguel Cosio, Tony Mata and Angie Mata. Her legacy of survivors include her aunts and uncles; Silvia Cosio, Pati and Tim Martinez, and Mari and Chuck Perez. Her nephew, Isaac Mata and niece Sophia Mata.

A celebration of life and visitation will be held on September 14, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Humphrey, 753 Broadway, Chula Vista, California, 91910. A funeral service at Funeraria Del Angel Humphrey will be held September 15, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Final resting place will be at Glen Abbey Memorial Park. Following the interment service a gathering will be held at Southport Christian Center in National City, California.
