Wilhelmina Papa Morales

Wilhelmia P. Morales, 72 years old, of Carson, California, passed away on April 25, 2016 in Torrance, California. She was the first born child of Salvador and Elvira Papa. She was born in Cavite City, Philippines on March 23, 1944. She married Soliman E. Morales on January 15, 1967 and they were blessed with 38 years of marriage. Soliman predeceased her on July 4, 2005.

"Mina" had a career in Electronics Assembling for various companies in the San Diego area. She was a devout member of the Iglesia Ni Cristo. Her passions in life were spending quality time with her family, shopping and traveling.

Mina is survived by her two sons; Marlon Morales and Michael Morales. Her legacy includes five grandchildren; Marc Morales, Chris Morales, Matthew Morales, Aaden Morales and Mirasol Morales. Survivors include her sibblings; Lito Papa, Virgie Opriasa, Nerry Castillo, Gerry Papa, Lilian Estrellado, Andy Papa, Jessie Papa, and Jun Papa.

Funeral arrangements will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Humphrey, 753 Broadway, Chula Vista, California 91910. Two nights of visitation and celebration of her life will be celebrated in the Serenity Chapel. First night of visitation is Thursday, May 5th from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 pm. Second night of visitation will be Friday, May 6th from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 7th at 10:00 a.m. in the Serenity Chapel at Funeraria Del Angel Humphrey. Interment will follow at La Vista Memorial Park in National City.
