Yolanda Avila Rodriguez

Yolanda Rodriguez, 73 years old, of San Ysidro, California, passed away peacefully in her home on July 15, 2014.

She was born in the small town of San Jose de Otates, Guanajuato, Mexico on June 13, 1941. She moved to the United States on April 15, 1970.

She married to Amador Rodriguez in February 1954. Yolanda enjoyed her fulltime job as home maker, listening to music, and spending time with her grandbabies.

Yolanda leaves a rich legacy of family, she is survived by her six children:

Antonio Rodriguez, Ana Armendariz, Roberto Rodriguez, Bertha Rodriguez, Ruben Rodriguez and Jose Luis Rodriguez.

Eleven grandchildren: Sophia Rodriguez, Christina Garcia, Amanda Rodriguez, Genaro Garcia Jr., Eric Rodriguez, Daniel Garcia, Amara Rodriguez, Aizik Rodriguez, Riel Rodriguez, Alessandro Rodriguez, Jeshua Rodriguez. One great-grandchild: Mia Burciaga.

Wake will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday, July 21, 2014 at Funeraria Del Angel Humphrey, 753 Broadway, Chula Vista, CA 91910. Funeral Services will be the following day, Tuesday, July 21, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Humphrey. Following the service, we will proceed to La Vista Memorial Park at 3191 Orange Street, National City, CA 91950.
