One of history's brave souls who fought in WWII, passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2014. Bernie was a sweet and gentle soul who jumped out of airplanes as a paratrooper in WWII. He was a Brooklyn boy who wanted to be a doctor. Time and travels took him to California where he had numerous friends and relatives. Bernie is survived by four sons. Rest in peace, dear friend.
