Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. He is survived by Dorothy, his wife of 64 years; his three children Jack (Diane), Sydney Ann, and Mark (Debby); his 6 grandchildren Jennifer, Jennette, Neal, Mathew, Kyle and Jeffery; and by his four great-grandchildren Melyssa, Evan, Christopher, and Dylan. Jack is also survived by three sisters-in-law; Marge Scanlon of Idaho Springs, CO, Madge Dewitt of Lincoln and Mildred Cralle of Sparks, NV.
Jack was an accomplished tennis player and skier, loved boating, and was a skilled pianist. He served in the US Navy in Guam during WWII. He married Dorothy in Lake County California, and the two have been close partners ever since. Jack was an active pharmacist for 55 years. He was a graduate of the University Of Colorado School Of Pharmacy and a long-time member of the CA Pharmacy Assn. He served as Chief Pharmacist at Roseville Hospital during the 1970s and operated numerous retail pharmacies.
A memorial will be held at the Pleasant Grove Community Church, 1730 Pleasant Grove Blvd., Roseville, 95747, on November 11 at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Pleasant Grove Community Church or the American Diabetes Association at 1-800-DIABETES.
