Granted his angel wings on September 24, 2010 following his 3-month battle with leukemia. His final days were spent surrounded by family and friends. He was playful, witty beyond his years and his sense of humor made everyone just ''bust up'' laughing. James loved Michael Jackson's music; he would sing along to Smooth Criminal, I'm Bad, and Beat It. With James passing, we remind others that his life is one to be celebrated, although we will miss him, he will always remain forever in our hearts. He was born in Sacramento on December 6, 2005 to Anthony & Shawna Cherry. James is survived by his parents; twin brother Michael; sisters, Nichole & Andreya; great-grandparents, Francis & Carol Schwenke, Mike & Patsy Neeley, & Rose Shore; grandparents, Greg & Debbie Neeley, Ernest Cherry, Len & Tran Lukas, & Joe & Jan Lotze. Donations can be made to the James Martyn Cherry Memorial Fund at any Wells Fargo bank. A celebration of life will be held at Hagan Community Park on Chase Dr in Rancho Cordova on October 17, 2010 at 1pm.
