

She graduated from Hollister High School. At the age of 19 she began dating a young man named James Sonniksen who she later married on September 28th, 1947. Jim and Noralee had two children, Eric and Nancy. They lived about forty years in a house off Greenback Ln. She was involved with The Mercy Guild and Red Hat Ladies. She loved to paint landscapes in her earlier years. Her favorite pass time activities were puzzles, gardening and crossword puzzles. She also loved to read a good book. Noralee and Jim loved to travel in their RV. The two visited all 50 states. Later in life they moved into a retirement home park where they lived happily until Jims’ death in July 2003. They were married for 56 years. She remained there until 2 years ago when she moved in with her daughter Nancy. Noralee lived a happy, long life. She is survived by her younger brother, Charles, son, Eric, daughter, Nancy, grandchildren, Ann and Elizabeth and four great grandchildren. She passed away peacefully in her home with her daughter and eldest granddaughter by her side. She will be deeply missed.
