

Born May 22, 1941 in Flint Michigan to William and Judith Scott; Paul was a graduate of San Juan high school in Citrus Heights in 1955 and also a graduate of American River College in addition to a BA from Sacramento State University in social services.
A victim of Parkinson's from Agent Orange. He was Vietnam veteran with the US Army, testing for potable water in advance of troops movements insuring that they would have safe water when setting up camp's and other missions as needed. Also a retired employee of Sacramento County as a social worker for 34 years, retiring with CPS as a caseworker specializing in Native American Children. He was also a plumber and electrician on his off time with ties to East Sacramento Hardware. Also a member of the VFW post 67 and the Veterans Affiliated Council. He was a very honorable and hard-working man his entire life.
He was greatly loved by all throughout the Sacramento community. He is survived by his wife Kathryn Scott whom he dated for 15 years and married in 86 spending a total of 42 years together. Along with her 5 children and over 20 grandchildren and great grandchildren who mourn his loss.
Paul you will be greatly missed and we will always love you so much, it is such a big loss in our lives when we lose someone that we care about that is of such great character as yourself. You have taught us righteousness and integrity and how important it is to work hard at everything that we do throughout our lives .We thank you Paul for being who you are. We will see you at the gates of Heaven.
Services will be held Wednesday Aug 5th 11:00am at the Reichert’s Funeral Chapel 7320 Auburn Blvd Citrus Heights, CA with burial to follow 1:30pm at the Sacramento Valley VA Cemetery in Dixon CA.
