Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family and close friends on July 3, 2011, at the age of 75. She was born in Stockholm, Maine, and a Reno resident for 54 years. She is preceded in death by the love of her life, Merle Kennedy, and son John Kennedy. She is survived by her brothers, Philip of Maine and Donald of California; her sister Geneva of Illinois; her daughter Cynthia Mohler; two grandchildren, Lindsay Montano (Brian) and John Mohler and three great-grandchildren, Chase, Payton and Seth. She was employed by the Nevada Club for 30 years and JC Penny for 10 after retirement she was a doting grandmother and great grandmother and was loyal to St. Albert’s and St. Thomas Churches. Though her life was rough and she was ill for some time, she never had a complaint and worried about others and not herself. Friends and family are welcome to attend a funeral service at Mountain View Cemetery on, July 7 at 3:00 PM, 435 Stoker Avenue Reno, NV, A memorial service will be held at the end of August.
