Rae Marie Dennis - Stanaland

Rae Marie Dennis Stanaland, age 85 passed away at Mercy San Juan Hospital in Carmichael on May 12, 2016 surrounded by her loving family

Rae was born in Represa, CA on January 15,1931 to Raymond and Elesia Dennis. The youngest of four, she was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Bernice, Gertrude, and Elizabeth. She was also preceded in death by her precious granddaughter Erica.

Rae is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Robert Sr.. They met when she was 16 and married on September 19, 1948 in Carson City, NV. They lived in Citrus Heights for over 60 years.

Rae is survived by children Donna Lantz and husband Sam of Rio Linda, Robert Stanaland and wife Linda of Granite Bay, Carolynn Porter and husband Robert of Citrus Heights, Daniel Stanaland and wife Diana of Roseville, grandchildren Angie & Jake Familia, Jake & Abby Lantz, Ben & Kristin Lantz, Tonya & Kevin Feckner, Jessica Rennie & Owen, Rikki & Paul Benevent, Lexi & Chelsea Fahr, Theresa Conroy, Thea Hogan, and great-grandchildren Rhiannon Cruz, Jett Jones, Ellie Rose Lantz, Ben Lantz Jr., Wade Lantz, Hailey Feckner, Rylee Feckner, Tanner Feckner, Parker Rennie, Xena Allen, Lily Benevent, Daisy Benevent, Charlie Benevent, and Dixon Hogan... and many nieces and nephews all who loved her very much.

Rae enjoyed decorating her house and did it beautifully. She collected beautiful antiques and had a huge bell collection. She liked to play pinochle with family and friends. She enjoyed all the holidays, but Christmas was her favorite. She loved Christmas Eve when every member of her family would come to celebrate, it won't be the same without her.

Family and friends are invited to attend a viewing on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 between 4-7 pm at Reichert's Funeral Home, 7320 Auburn Blvd., Citrus Heights, CA 95610. Friends and family also invited to attend graveside services Thursday, May 19, 2016 at 10:00am at Sylvan Cemetery, 7401 Auburn Blvd., Citrus Heights, CA, 95610, and after services join us for a celebration of life at VFW, 8990 Kruitof Way, Fair Oaks, CA. 95628.
