When I was young, when uncle bob had the arctic circle I remember being there behind the counter and watching the French fries being made.
-I remember with fondness coming to visit and stay for several day one summer when uncle bob worked at hill field. I recall eating our main meal in the afternoon since he had to work the evening shift. I remember everyone around the table with him being at one end. we didn't do that much at our house so it was a memorable time for me.
-I remember when I was older and uncle bob and Marilyn came to visit mom. I always would make sure I was there to see them and spend as much time with him as possible. I always enjoyed the conversations, laughs and good times I had when he visited. those were times I enjoyed eating ice cream with him. I don't know if it was him or Marilyn or both of them, but they also had with them a variety of the mini candy bars which they kindly offered to share with us. 
-when mom started with her memory loss I would get mom to call uncle bob as I remembered he usually called her and I realized his health was changing when she didn't get as many calls from him.
-I remember one time- a little more humerous when mom told me that uncle bob was in a rest home and she didn't know how to get a hold of him. I made calls and wrote letters to cousin bob to find out where uncle bob was, finally getting a call from Shirley letting me know that he was not in a rest home, that he was in his home! mom had not heard him correctly when she had asked him "where are you?" and he said "I'm home". she mistakenly heard "I am in a home!"

So much love. So many memories. Trips we had taken. Sharing enjoyment of a football game. It will always be there and I always end my day with an "I love you Dad."

Grandpa will always be remembered for his smile and great sense of humor. The same smile and sense of humor that he passed on to my Dad and I will enjoy forever! All the memories with Grandpa will be forever in my heart.

Dad inspired me to grow intellectually and spiritually.  He enjoyed life and made those who were around him feel comfortable.  He loved to laugh and tease and always had a twinkle in his eyes.  When I talked on the phone with him I always could hear his smile.  I loved him very much.

Dad Brown was always an inspiration to our family.  We all love him as a father and grandfather.  We have many special memories of him and will always hold a special place in our heart for him.  He will be missed, but we know that he is in a special place enjoying time with loved family and friends.
