Wood, Robert Willis Sr (Farmer Bob) Born in Folsom, Ca on July 31, 1927 Passed away 11/5/2011 in Fair Oaks, Ca at the age of 84 Father of Robert Wood Jr of North Carolina and Devoted Daughter Sue Quackenbush and her Husband Don of Rancho Cordova Beloved Grandfather of 7 Nancy Briggs,(Dan), Susan Quackenbush (Mike), Bonnie Bernstein (Kenny) Robert Wood III, Albert Wood (Nikki), Rita Hryniewiecki (Stephen) Michael Wood (Sock Eye) Great O'pa of 10 with nick names Steven(Weasel), Kody(Pistol), Olivia (Sauerkraut), Samuel (Cannonball), Sinclaire (Sweet Pea), Helen(Lil Tootie) Cavan(Bullseye), Rebecca (Lollipop), Valarie(Popsicle) and Logan (Pork Chop),Daughter-in-law Patty Wood. Sister Ruth Mcgee,Citrus Heights Long time neighbor and Friend Larry Liebler, Devoted Nephew Ronnie Martin, his roommate and friend Joe Lowrey and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Preceded in death by his loving Wife of 46 yrs Helen Wood and Son Michael Wood. Robert was a resident of Citrus Heights for 45 Yrs, MP in the ARMY, Member of the Labors Union for over 50 yrs and life member of the Folsom Eagles. He worked as a Hod Carrier until injured in 1980. He loved to grow fresh veggies. He liked camping and fishing with his family. Held weekend poker games with family and friend. He was famous for his Tacos. Made great cookies and HUGE sub sandwiches for his daughters bowling league. A connoisseur of Hams Beer and Shasta Cola. Stayed busy by donating his time to collecting banana boxes for local farmers. Picking up and delivering food to all his neighbors. He was the Yard Sale King of Citrus Heights. His last big adventure was a 3 month road trip across the United States with his daughter and son-in-law. He never met a stranger and was always willing to help. He will be missed!!!
