Trofim Nesterenko

Was born on September 29, 1953 in Los Angeles, California and passed away in Folsom, Calif. On March 11, 2011 after a brief illness with H1N1 at the age of 57. He was a resident of El Dorado County for 30 years. Tom was known for his Kindness, Affection, Support, Love and Honesty. Always willing to help with anything that needed to be done at Union Mine high School whether it was with Sober Grad Night, Union Mine Band, and Girls Basketball, filming or shot clock. Tom is survived by his loving wife Katya of 38 years his two young daughters Kristina, Tiffany. His mother in

-law, brother in-laws and their wives and sister, nieces and nephews. Tom graduated from Montebello High school at the age of 17 and continued on to L.A. Trade Technical School where he graduated with honors and an AA degree. And started his career as a commercial HVAC Draftsmen working his way up to Sales and Project Manager. He also taught at San Jose City College at the age of 23.

Tom enjoyed camping, spending time with family and friends, and watching his daughter Tiffany play basketball on the Union Mine Varsity Team along with watching his daughter Kristina perform at the half time shows for the Oregon Ducks. If you were lucky enough to meet Tom your life was forever changed. He lead a quiet life with gusto and humor. We shall miss you and your warm smiles and hugs . We Love you Daddy.
