

Eddie was born on March 12, 1947, in Angeles, Pampanga, Philippines to parents Martin and Margarita, he was the third of nine children. Eddie grew up in a happy home with his siblings until 1967 when he left to join the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1970 as a Sargent who received a National Defense Service Medal and eventually joined the U.S. Air Force Reserve.
Eddie made his home in San Bruno, California, where he began his career as an IT technician in the Bay Area and was most recently working with the California Highway Patrol.
Throughout his life Eddie enjoyed working on his computer, tinkered with electronic gadgets and was a do-it-yourself guy around the house. He loved exploring by taking spontaneous road trips and spending quality time with his family. Eddie loved rock n’ roll music and his favorite artist was Elvis Presley.
Eddie will forever be remembered as a great family man, a loving father and grandfather, a caring brother, a true friend, and a joyful easy-going person.
Eddie is survived by his three sons and one daughter, Edward, Michael, Jason, and Christina, as well as his six grandchildren, Alex, Sean, Sophia, Mila, Giovanni, and Evee, by his mother, Margarita, and his eight siblings, Conchita, Lolita, Robert, Sam, Grace, Phil, Rick, and Fred. Eddie is preceded in death by his father, Martin dela Calzada and his son, Ronald.
May Eddie dela Calzada rest in eternal Heavenly peace.
