

Alice Silva, 65, Colorado City, passed away at her home after a long illness surrounded by her family on Saturday, September 5, 2015. She was born on July 2, 1950 in Loraine Texas the daughter of Jesus and Jesusita Cienega Molina.
Alice was a hard working woman, who put in over 20 years as a custodian for the Colorado ISD. She was a woman who always put her family first always making sure to show her children and grandchildren all she could while teaching them valuable life lessons. When not at home with her family or at work Alice could be found taking long walks, shopping, or playing bingo. She will be remembered for her kind heart, warm smile, and joker like quality.
Alice is survived by her children Katrina Lopez of Big Spring, Jessica (John Garcia) Silva of Colorado City, Joseph Molina of Colorado City, Ben Turnbow of Colorado City, and Carlos Silva of Colorado City, and by her siblings Judy Molina of Colorado City, Mary Campbell of Colorado City, Ruth Ybarra of Odessa, Louis (Brenda) Molina of Colorado City, Manuel (Mary) Molina of Colorado City, Danny Molina of Odessa, Aurthur Molina of Odessa, Martin Molina of Colorado City, and Raymond (Suzzie) Molina of Colorado City. She is also survived by her grandchildren Brianna Turnbow, Maegan Green, Marissa Robinson, Raven Silva, Gaven Silva, Adriana Martinez, Aiden Martinez, Mia Silva, and Joseph Molina Jr., as well as by her great-grandchildren Mylia Houston, Mayson Green, and Maddox Green.
She was preceded in death by her husband Fermin Silva and by two brothers Ruben and Juan Molina.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Colorado City on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at 10 am. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 from 6-8 pm with a Rosary at 7pm at the Kiker-Seale Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Mitchell County Cemetery.
