Brenda Kay Grimes

Brenda was born in Colorado City, Tx on June 9, 1951, to George and Frances Proctor.

Brenda was a loving and caring nurse for 32 years. She was very hardworking, and she absolutely loved being a nurse.

She was a great wife, sister, aunt, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, cousin and friend. She is the baby out of her 4 siblings. Her favorite flower is yellow roses. She had a big heart and loved everyone who walked in her path. She adored her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She absolutely loved to cook and bake. She loved going fishing, dancing and motorcycle riding with her husband. She was an amazing woman who loved her family and friends so much. She will be dearly missed by all who loved her.

Brenda is survived by her husband for 40 years Troy Grimes, sons Jeremy Grimes and Eric Grimes, grandchildren Jordan Grimes, Cameron Grimes, Zane Grimes and Tate Grimes, great grandchildren Zayliegh Arguijo and Joe’l Arguijo, Twin sister Linda Ward, brother Roger Proctor, Sister in laws Mary Paul Proctor, Gayla Proctor, several nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents George and Frances Proctor and brother Brian “Porky” Proctor

A Celebration of Brenda’s life will be held on January 25th at 2 pm at the Calvary Baptist Church.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Kiker Seale Funeral Home.
