He was born in Colorado City to Porky and Mary Paul Iglehart Proctor on July 20, 1962.
Bubba was a hard-working man who loved his job as a carpenter. He could build anything with his 2 hands and could make some of the most beautiful furniture you could see. He was a man of strong faith who put his love of God and family above all else. He was the best husband, father, papa, and all-around family man that a family could ask for. In his later years he enjoyed rough housing with his grandson’s and thought that he had the most beautiful granddaughters a man could have. He was a kind loving soul who made friends with ease and never knew a stranger. He had a great sense of humor and could make you laugh at ease, especially when he fired off a quick and response that you were not expecting. During the week he would stay in Colorado City where he worked, but he always made sure to be home in time to catch the football games with his wife. In his spare time he enjoyed being outside as he hated sitting down. He would take his grandsons fishing and camping while teaching them important life lessons. He will be missed by many as he was loved by all who knew him.
Bubba is surivived by his mother Mary Paul Proctor of Colorado City, by his loving wife Julie Proctor of San Angelo, by a son Russ Whitesides and wife Audrey of Weatherford, and by 2 daughters Courtney Proctor and fiancé Craig Ginkinger of Colorado City and Kelsey Sealey and husband Jacob of San Angelo, as well as by grandchildren Finn and Gabe Whitesides, Harper Lynn Ginkinger, and Allie and Luke Sealey. He is also survived by his brother Ronald Proctor and wife Sareesa of Colorado City as well as by his mother-in-law Marlena Rice; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Porky Proctor and by a sister Tammy Proctor.
