He was born on November 24, 1947 in Dayton, Texas to Roy and Frances Williams Weatherly.
Doyle was a hard-working oilfield driller who took pride in what he did. He was a good husband, father, and grandfather. While he was quiet by nature, he did believe in living his life to the fullest up until he could no longer do what he enjoyed. In his younger years he enjoyed racing, hunting, and fishing. As he got older he spent his time working on his racecar to make it go faster and tending to his many animals. He had many pets throughout his life and his love of animals was a trait that he passed down to his daughters.
Doyle is survived by his daughters Chelci Beaird and husband Jeff and Audrey Munoz and husband Joe of Colorado City, by grandchildren Casey Beaird, Jonathan Beaird, and Madison Munoz, and by great-grandchildren Justice Beaird, Tyson Beaird, Brooklyn Beaird, Bryson Beaird, and Magnolia Beaird. He is also survived by his brothers Roy Glen Weatherly of Centerville and Bennie Weatherly and wife Tommie of Colorado City, and by a sister Betty Wood of Rowlett, as well as by several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Roy and Frances Weatherly, by his wife Beckie Weatherly, and by a sister Rita Weatherly.
