Colorado City – Mrs. Geneva Killian, age 94, of Colorado City, died Sunday night in a local hospital. Services will be at 2 PM Wednesday, May 16, 2012, in the Kiker-Seale Chapel with Rev. Paul Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Colorado City Cemetery under the care and direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
Mrs. Killian was born July 8, 1917 in Bonham, Texas and had been a resident since 1973. She married Tom Petty Killian Jr. on December 24, 1938 in Colorado City. He preceded her in death on February 26, 1973. She was a farmer’s wife, a homemaker, a member of the MCH Pink Ladies and a member of the Calvary Baptist Church where she was in the Martha Sunday School Class.
She is survived by 2 daughters: Betty and husband, Tommy Fuller and Sue and husband, Ralph Becker, all of Colorado City; 1 brother. Warren Anderson of Colorado City; 2 sisters: Wilma Reynolds of Colorado City and Era Jane Richey of San Angelo; 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren.
She is also preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Irene Ritchey.
The family will receive friends 6-8 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
