

It is with deep sadness the families of George A Rodriguez Jr. announce the peacefully passing of a devoted Husband, Grandpa, and Great Grandpa while in his sleep on December 9th 2025 at the Mitchell County Nursing Home in Colorado City, TX at the age of 83
He was Born and raised in Menard, TX to George A Rodriguez Sr., and Nicolasa Aguirre and having a combined 10 siblings.
He spent most of his adult life in Idaho where he had a fulfilling marriage and life with Luisa Orosco Rodriguez and raised his son and 2 younger daughters with having 15 grandchildren and 28 combined great grandchildren.
Some will say he can be remembered as a great hunter and fisherman when he wasn’t working hard, shopping with grandma or simply spending time with his grandkids and great grandkids.
As a career he spent time Sheep Shearing, Potato Farm Boss, Kothmanns Ranch; Foreman
His legacy will continue on as he is survived in death by his daughter Suzie(Don)Epperson of Loraine,TX and their children Tabatha (Junior) Delgado Family of Loraine,TX, Jonathan Epperson, Joseph (Keisha)Epperson Family, his only son Andrew (Lisa) Rodriguez and their children; Kortney (Mark) Baquera and their combined children(Fabian,Mark Jr.,Leela), Jordan (Raven) Rodriguez and their combined children (Noah Andrew Rodriguez,Daxton Lee Rodriguez, Natalya E Rodriguez) his 3 younger daughters; Lisa (Mike) Bolley and their (4 children), Josefa Rodriguez and her children (Angel (Kaylee) A Saldaña) their children (Jesus Saldaña, Christina), Alena A Saldaña, Abel J Rodriguez),Lucia (Jesus) Salinas and their children (Julian Salinas, Nydia Salinas, Jesus Pedro Salinas), his 3 sisters Carlota Rodriguez of Burley,ID,Isabell (Rey) Gutierrez of Menard, TX, Nicolasa (Coca) Garcia of Comanche and one brother Pedro Rodriguez of Eden, TX.
He is preceded in death by his 2nd wife Luisa Orosco Rodriguez, His 1st wife Lydia Rodriguez, 2 daughters Lisa Annette, Marielena Rodriguez and 2 grandchildren (Destree and Brittany) his brothers Paul Rodriguez, Julian Rodriguez, Ramon Rodriguez, Frank (Kiko) Gonzales, Ascension(chonte), and Pedro (Piro), His sisters Ramona Vielma, Martina Gonzales, Dorothy (tita) , Suzie (Chana) Medillion,
From a long life well lived in love, he will be deeply missed, Never forgotten and always in our hearts!
