I was saddened to learn recently of Grady's passing. I enjoyed the family reunions and stories he would tell. My father was Bobby Joe Armstrong "BJ". My grandmother was Zelda Bell (Morris) Armstrong of Abilene, Texas. Her parents were  James Isis "J.I." Morris and Grizelda Bell (Kirby). Grady was a super nice gentleman and our family has a huge loss with his passing. My husband Steve and I as well as our daughter Crystal (Watley) Cousert all send our prayers and condolences to the family.

I met Grady 66 years ago and he soon was my    best friend.  Early years we rode horses and        together later years we rode golf carts.  I  will treasure the memories, but will miss him  so much.

When I think of Pop I think mostly of when we would go out to eat. Pop would always tease and joke with whoever was waiting on us. He was just someone who liked to always joke around with others, and that light-heartedness of his is something I hope to carry within myself.

Pop, thank you for being a role model and the most level headed person. I could always count on you! I am going to miss seeing you when I drive through Colorado City and you saying " the sky" or "talking to you on the phone." Give MeMe a big kiss and hug for me. Miss you and love you lots.

As I write this I am so heart broken to know that we won't talk again till heaven! We where so very blessed to have you as our pop growing up! Over the last couple of years we have become closer then ever! Very thankful for the ethics you taught us and time you spent with us! Loved our morning talks and crazy midday questions! Our lives are changed forever but will always be blessed to be your grandaughter! We love and miss you so very much Pop kiss memaw for us! Until we are together again I will try and make you proud!

Pop, you were always someone I was excited to see. I am thankful that you spent so much time coming to see us even if it was just to watch us cheer or Kassidy dance. I loved your sayings and responses even if they did drive me CRAZY! You will be missed so much and we all LOVE YOU SOO!

My pop was a role model to me, someone I was always excited to see. Smart butt responses were always funny to hear coming from him. I can't wait for my day to see my amazing grandparents in heaven.

Dad,
     You have always been an inspiration to me. I miss you so much!  I am so lucky to have had you and mom as my parents. These last few years living with you is a time that I will always treasure. You have been an amazing dad, counselor, one of my best friends, and my hero.  I am so grateful that you and mom instilled a strong work ethic in me. I love you Dad and even though I'm sad, I'm happy that you are back with mom.

Loretta I was so saddened to hear that your sweet daddy had past.  He and Molly were always so good to me.   I remember as kids I would run out my back door, across the alley and in your back door.  It always stood out to me that your dad pronounced your name differently than everyone else.  You were very Lucky to have Grady and Molly for you parents and I wanted to thank you for sharing them with all of us.  I was a real mess when I lost my dad and your dad was there for me.  We may not all get to see each other all the time but you will always be family to me.  I love you and I am praying for comfort for you and your family.

Loretta, I'm so sorry for your loss. Grady gave me my first job,working at the auction house. He taught me to work hard and then have some fun and celebrate a good days work by going to breakfast at the truck stop. Your dad gave me and a lot of other teenagers a great opportunity. He expected hard work and I enjoyed working for him. I have furniture from the auction here at my home.  My kids have heard the stories of the hours long auctions, the corner booth at the truck stop and of Grady Morris running the show. I know you will miss his humor and fiestiness. My thoughts are with you.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Grady was a sweet man and a very likable person. I know this will weigh heavy on all of your hearts. My heart is heavy for your families.

I attended school and church with Grady when we were growing up in Westbrook. I'd not seen Grady in many years until the class of 1955 got together 2 years in a row, 4 years ago. Grady was just the same and I'm very glad I got to visit with him. My condolences to all his family and friends. Grace and peace to you all.

We were shocked and saddened to hear about  Grady's death. I will never forget, at a family reunion we would have an auction to raise money for the next years' reunion. I was sitting on the front row, and Grady was doing the auctioning. I was bidding like mad for one of Aunt Ditty's quilts. Pretty soon everyone was laughing, then I realized Grady had me bidding against myself. He had such a dry sense of humor. I will miss him. Love and condolences from cousin Bernadette.

So Sorry for the family of Grady, he was fun to talk with, but you never knew if he was serious or kidding.. He would usually crack me up, after being so serious
then bust out laughing if I took it serious..Quiet a Guy, Seemed everybody had something good to say about him. He will be missed by all, seeing all the good things people have to say about him.. I pray that God will be with all the Family, give them strength to get thru the loss of a special Loved one, He is in another special place, catching up with all who have gone before him, waiting for him, to get more jokes..God Bless & give you Peace..

I miss you more than words could ever express, and I'm sad beyond all because not a day has gone by without me thinking of you and wanting to pick up the phone and calling you! Even if its just to hear you respond to my hay, and then you say corn!! RIP Grady, I love you and will carry youbin my heart for eternity?!! I wish you were here to pester me, I miss that most!!!

We are so sorry to hear of the loss of Grady.   David has said how much he meant to him and to his parents, Doc and Diddy.   I will never forget his help and the time he offered us while we were faced with the difficult task of dispersing Diddy's things.  I was amazed at his auctioneer skills.   I always wondered how a slow talking Texan could talk fast  enough to be an auctioneer.  I loved it.   Please know our hearts are broken, and his precious family will be in our thoughts and prayers.

So very sorry to hear about Grady.  His family and my parents were long time friends.  He was a good man and always thinking of others.  He will be missed by all.  Our prayers are for his family.

Grady will be missed by his family and trends.  I had the change to work and be around his family. He was always doing for others and he did have away with people. I did enjoy watching him do his auctions.  I learned thru Molly and Grady how to set up  He would tell me how Molly done it. So it had to be do just right. So when I see things in the future and have my memory of them
