Mr. Jimmy Gale Redwine

Jimmy Gale Redwine, age 71, passed away Saturday, September 25, 2010 at his residence in Colorado City, Texas. He was born January 29, 1939 to A.G. and Irvalynn Redwine in Mitchell County. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. at Dorn Methodist Church with Mr. Shane Johnson officiating. Services are under the direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.

Jimmy served in the United States Airforce from 1955 to 1959. After serving in the military he began working for Boeing Aircraft Company where he took part in working on the Saturn V Project. He is a former Deputy Sheriff of Roswell, New Mexico and he retired from TXDot in 2001.

Jimmy was united in marriage to Theresa Gallegos August 4, 1956 in Roswell, New Mexico where they resided until 1980 when they moved to Mitchell County.

He was preceded in death by his parents, A.G. and Irvalynn Redwine and his grandparents, Oren and Myrtle Lipps

Jimmy is survived by his wife, Theresa Redwine, two sons, Jamie Redwine and wife Sara of Big Spring, Texas and Mike Redwine of Colorado City, Texas, as well as his three brothers, Terry, Gary and Mickey Redwine and two sisters, Mary Anne Heffernan and Gayla Proctor. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
