She was born on January 20, 1948 in Henderson Texas to the late Ralph Steven Brown and Suzy Cavalenti Brown Brunner.
Linda was a hard working woman who loved her family with all her might. She held many jobs through life, most notably as a realtor for Century 21 Bill Campbell Realties out of Odessa. When she retired from that job she opened Linda’s Doggie Doodles. In her younger years she sung in a traveling band with her first husband. She was also a past president of the Permian Basin Apartment Association.
In her spare time Linda enjoyed sewing, golfing, walking up and down the roads, and being with her friends. When Christmas came around she would throw women only Christmas parties which included a private santa, lots of singing and all sorts of entertainment. Linda was also a wonderful caretaker, as she took care of her mother and best friend as she got older, making sure that she always had company and was surrounded with love.
Linda is survived by her son Darrell Hanks of Colorado City, by grandchildren Linda Marie Hanks, Jason Lee Hanks Jr., and Jesse James Hanks, as well as by a brother Steven Scott Randolph of Greensboro N.C. and by a nephew Anthony Randolph.
She was preceded in death by her parents, by her husband Jim Davis Archer and by a son Jason Lee Hanks.
A Celebration of Life for Linda will be held at the Kiker Seale Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, August 21st at 3:30 pm
