Mark McDaniel

.Mark McDaniel, age 56, of Loraine, died Wednesday afternoon in a local care center. Graveside services will be at 10 AM Saturday, August 2, 2014, in the Loraine Cemetery under the care and direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.

Mark was born April 18, 1958 in Loraine to Delmar and Eloise Preston McDaniel and had been a lifelong resident of Mitchell County. He was a farmer and a member of the First Baptist Church in Loraine. He was also a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of Shriners International.

He is survived by his father, Delmar McDaniel of Loraine; a sister, Cindy McDaniel of San Antonio; a brother, Mike and wife, Stephanie McDaniel of Magnolia, TX; an aunt Shirley Graham of Loraine; an uncle, Bill Preston of Loraine; 1 niece, Jana Wilks, 2 nephews: Dean McDaniel and Drew McDaniel; great nieces: Jade Higgins, Cara Wilks and Blakely McDaniel; great nephews: Cole Wilks and Isaiah McDaniel; and a great-great niece, Berkli Higgins; and cousins, all of which were dear to his heart .

He is preceded in death by his mother, Eloisie McDaniel.
