She was born on April 25, 1940 in Loraine to Jose and Maria Esquivel Sanchez.
Martha was a devout Catholic woman putting her faith in God and living by his law to love with all her heart. On March 15, 1980 she married the love of her life, Adam Salinas who preceded her in death. While together they were each other’s rocks, as she was a great wife. Martha believed that after God came family. She spent her life caring for her family, she was a phenomenal daughter, helping to care for her mother when she got older and an even better sister, helping her brothers to raise their children, which was made possible through incredible strength and a big heart. She loved deeply and was loved by all those around her more than what she could imagine. When not at home she could be found doing things for the church when she was able. In her spare time she enjoyed cooking, spending time with her family, and praying her rosary. Martha was truly born with a servant’s heart and her sweet funny caring ways will be remembered fondly by her family.
Martha is survived by 3 nephews that she helped raise; Michael Sanchez of San Antonio, David Sanchez and wife Meredith of Midland, and Rudy Sanchez and wife Yvette of Fort Worth, by grandchildren Cassandra, Matthew, Esperanza, David Jr., Celeste, and Zackary and by their children. She is also survived by 2 sisters Herminia Sanchez-Aguilar and husband Robert of Loraine and Epifania Sanchez-Garza of Loraine, as well as by a host of nephews, nieces, great nephews, and great nieces.
