Mary Ella Miller, age 80 of Abilene passed away on January 1, 2015 in an Abilene care center. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at the Kiker-Seale Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Westbrook Cemetery.
Mary Ella was born on May 7, 1934 in DeQueen, AR to Fred and Lila Golden. She married Lee Roy Miller on April 21, 1950 in Colorado City, TX. Mary owned the Green Top Cafe in Westbrook in 1968 & 1969. She moved to Abilene in 2008. She was a loving Christian mother.
Those left to cherish Mary’s memory are her children, Larry Miller and wife Tina of Midland, Lee Roy Miller Jr. and wife Debra of Westbrook, Ronnie Miller and wife Janie of Big Spring, and Jane Smith and husband Mike of Abilene. She is also survived by 7 grandkids and 9 great grandkids, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Lee Roy Miller, her brothers, Merle and Howard Golden, her sister, LaVern Moore, and granddaughter Danala Cherie Miller.
